Pearl Lustre…

A pearl's iridescence is known as lustre and is absolutely unique to pearls, different to any other gemstone. As stunning as pearls are I always felt they were too classic, neat, too traditional, until I was introduced to baroque pearls.

These pearls were more irregular, with some minor aberrations, they came in all shapes and sizes and felt they had a more organic feel to them.

Combining pearls with semi precious stones always took on a new feel, they become less traditional and became more accessible. Even the aesthetics of baroque pearls becomes more wearable and a talking point as they are so different to the more traditional classic string of pearls.

Pearls are the finest jewellery staple for all ages.
